One year has come and gone since we announced the desire to start a Christian radio station here in Techiman, and we have not lost that desire and dream. Pastor Samuel Appiah and I had a meeting with a man who had a radio station for sale. He said that the price for the station and the equipment was about $125,000 which was too high for the station and the kind of equipment shown to us.

We then went to the National Communication Authority in charge of all licenses that are issued here in Ghana. We were given a page and half of things that would have to be given to them in order for us to obtain a license. We are currently gathering that information, and when it is filed, it will take between two months to one year for them to issue a license.

Please pray that we will get all this information for them in a timely fashion. It has been difficult to gather it because of the ministry demands. We have not jettisoned the project but are looking for some more help. Radio is a very important venue over here, and many are listening to our announcements that we run for special programs.

How could you help?

1. We have a building that can be purchased that is right in the center of Techiman just off the main street. The cost for this building is $20,000.
2. We will need about $3000 to get the license between travel and appointments.
3. Please pray for this ministry that God will receive all the glory. We want our station to be listened to all over.
